ANSWER: First confirm that the opener has power. Next confirm that the J-arm is attached to the opener rail carriage. Next, make sure that both safety eyes are illuminated solid and are not flashing. Next check the springs to verify they are not broken, and check the cables. Then try the wall control panel or one of the remotes.
